Kicking off a month of Empow’her’ment

Porterville College kicked off Women’s History Month with a vibrant start as students gathered on the Quad for the Empow’her’ment Crowns event. On Monday morning, participants took a creative approach to self-expression by crafting personal crowns that highlighted the various influences and values that empower them most. The Quad was filled with inspiration as students shared their stories through unique designs and meaningful conversations.

This celebration of strength and identity is only the beginning of our tribute to the incredible women who have shaped our culture and community. We invite everyone to keep the momentum going by joining Student Life for our upcoming events throughout March. From expressing gratitude at Give Her her Flowers on March 10th to getting creative with 'Tote'ally That Girl on March 11th, there are plenty of opportunities to honor the hard-working women in our lives.
